Active adult living is truly special. There’s a different kind of connection that people have with their neighbors when they move into an active adult community. It’s more about “we’re all in this together” rather than “it’s all about me”. If you think about it, everyone is in about the same place in their life – their children are grown, they’ve accomplished a great deal, maybe they want to retire or maybe they don’t ever want to retire, but there’s a common thread that it’s time to enjoy more and be free from some of the mundane responsibilities of daily life. With Active Adult living there is a sense of freedom – to enjoy family, to golf, to spend more time on long neglected hobbies, to travel or just stay home without the thought of mowing the lawn or shoveling the driveway. For many, it’s a whole new social life with new friends and experiences. The one regret we hear most often is, “We should have done this sooner!”
